The Port of Morrow is requesting bids for a General Contractor for the construction of Two New Water Treatment Plants as part of The Port of Morrow’s potable water distribution system. The two plants will be identical in scope, except for minor differences associated with the plants being located on two separate sites. The water treatment portion of each plant will include sand separation, chemical injection, a membrane feed tank, membrane feed pumps, strainers, membrane filtration system, ultraviolet light disinfection, chlorine injection and a chlorine contact tank.
The membrane filtration system and select ancillary systems have been procured by the Owner and are to be installed by the Contractor.
Each plant will include a building to house the membrane filtration equipment, chemical storage, various pumps and other process equipment. The building will also house administrative, electrical and communications facilities for operations staff.
East Beach Site
The Work will be located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Internet Parkway and Lewis and Clark Drive, in Boardman, OR 97818.
Airport Site
The Work will be located on Boardman Airport Lane, across the street from the main entrance to the Boardman Airport, in Boardman, OR 97818.
Deadline
Bids submitted for #01302025 Columbia River Filtration Project must be submitted no later than 2:00 pm, local time, on 1/30/2025. At that time, they will be publicly opened. Bids will not be accepted after this hour and date. Port of Morrow will be acting as the Owner of this project.
Port of Morrow reserves the right to award or reject for good cause, any or all bids, or to postpone the award of the contract upon finding that it is in the public interest to do so. Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279a.120. The bidder is subject to all requirements regarding the payment of Prevailing Wage Rates per Public Works Project ORS 279c.800 to 279C.850.
